For Hoppinger, we are looking for a Developer who wants to develop successful software with impact with his or her team.
As a Developer at Hoppinger, you enjoy the freedom to shape your own structure for your team, your work and your collaboration with other disciplines within the organization. Together with your self-managing team, you are responsible for designing, implementing and testing software for websites, platforms and customer portals. You will be involved in the entire software development process: from software creation to support. The main work consists of writing new code or modifying and/or extending existing code. You are a sparring partner for strategists, architects and other leads on improvements in projects and the organization as a whole.

What will you do?

As a developer at Hoppinger, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing and testing software solutions for websites, platforms and client portals. Working within a self-managing team, you will be involved in every stage of the software development lifecycle, from initial creation to ongoing support.
You will work closely with all disciplines within and outside your team. From fellow developers, engineers and data architects to strategists and designers. You are an important part of the "triangle" where technology, user and strategy come together and, together with the lead designer, play a crucial role in interacting and communicating with the customers and end users for whom we develop the digital solutions.

You are comfortable with the web as a platform and although you are proficient in C#, TypeScript and React, you are also eager to explore new technologies and trends. However, you also know your limits and know when to enlist the expertise of others for the desired outcome.

You

  • You are a graduate in Computer Science or similar field;
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role;
  • You have passion for developing, testing and implementing high quality software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks;
  • You have experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams to translate customer requirements into technical specifications and deliverables;
  • You participate in code reviews, technical discussions and brainstorming sessions to drive innovation and best practices;
  • You are aware of emerging technologies and trends to continuously improve our development processes;
  • You contribute to the growth and success of our team by sharing knowledge, mentoring junior developers and fostering a culture of collaboration and learning;
  • Are available 32-40 hours per week;
  • Are communicatively strong and express yourself professionally in Dutch and English.
